The slot design in the ERS collet series, featuring varying slot sizes, enhances its ability to withstand coolant pressure. The ERS series collets can endure infinite ∞ bar of coolant pressure.
ERS-FOD Metallic Coolant Collet: Ideal for use with milling cutters, this collet features three coolant holes at the front end, angled to direct coolant fluid efficiently onto the cutting edge for optimal cooling and chip removal.
ERS-FID Metallic Coolant Collet: Ideal for use with drills, reamers, and taps, the ERS collet allows coolant fluid to pass through the internal hole via two flutes and along the cutting tools. This design ensures that the coolant flow is not limited by the length of the cutting tools.
